02

We visit

We come to the property, measure, and bring our thinking with us — what we would do, what we would leave alone, and the design fee, proposed in person.

Free · on-site
03

We draw

Space plan and 3D visuals until it feels like your house. Materials, colour, lighting, tile and finishing all chosen deliberately — not ordered off a mood board.

04

It gets built

Contractors are awarded and paid by milestone. We manage and supervise on site, then style the room with bedding and accessories chosen to the concept.

From the archive

A 2019 homestay in Rawang — a former religious school, two storeys, low ceilings, too many beams. We did not ask how to make it pretty. We asked how to hotel it. Four bedrooms, around RM580 a night.

Questions, answered

Interior design, pricing and coverage — the things homeowners in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor ask us most.

How much does interior design cost in Malaysia?

3D design is RM6 per square foot — space plan, 3D visuals, material schedule and a defined number of revisions, with a 50% deposit to start. If you build with us, we manage the build by total subcontract for a 10–20% project fee. The discovery call and the on-site visit are free.

Do you serve Kuala Lumpur and Selangor?

Yes. ZEDYA is based in Kuala Lumpur and works with homeowners and operators across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and the Klang Valley.

Do you design homestays and Airbnb units?

Yes. We design homestays, Airbnb units, guesthouses and small hotels, and supply hotel-grade linen, towels, pillows and mattresses at operator pricing.

What happens on the free discovery call?

The free 15-minute call is discovery only — we qualify your room, budget, timeline and decision-maker, with no price and no pitch. If it is a fit, we book a free on-site visit where we measure, pitch the design deck and propose the fee in person.

I already have a contractor. Can you still help?

Yes. On our design-direction track we control the concept, materials, lighting and finishing while your contractor builds. A project-management fee of 10–20% applies.

Tell us about
your space.

Send a photo and a rough budget. We will tell you what it would take, and whether it is worth doing now or in two years. That answer is free, and it is usually the most useful thing we give you.
